Sarah Knoll, M.Ed., LPC
I am Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of Virginia and Connecticut and have been working in the field for over 10 years. I received a Bachelor's of Science focusing on Biology from Christopher Newport University and Master's Degree in Education focusing on Community Counseling from George Mason University. My experience includes working with adults in the outpatient, community, and hospital setting.
My work experience allowed me to see many demographics of people with different backgrounds and struggles. I gravitated most to caregivers and new parents. During my time working at a hospital, I often worked on the mother baby unit, assessing new mothers for mental health concerns. I am currently a member of Postpartum Support International and Postpartum Support Virginia and trained in Perinatal Mental Health Treatment.
